Meek Mill Trolls Tekashi 6ix9ine’s ‘Witness Protection Drip’ In Prison Photo
Philly MC Meek Mill is one of several hip-hop voices who haven’t been mum in their disdain for incarcerated Brooklyn rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine.
As a matter of fact, Meek has publicly voiced his thoughts about Tekashi on multiple occasions, even going so far as to point to the 23-year-old as a cautionary example for other young artists and fans flirting with the allure of street life. In September of 2019, Meek tweeted out, “69 going up in [a] federal courthouse today kids! Message of the day [is] don’t be [an] Internet gangsta...be yourself! #cloutisnottheroute get money.”
Last night (Jan. 23), Tekashi’s girlfriend, Jade, took to Instagram to air out her thoughts on Tekashi’s request to finish out his 24-month sentence on house arrest being denied. With the update, she posted a photo of her and Tekashi from a recent prison visit in which both were dressed in grey outfits. Tekashi’s signature rainbow-colored tresses were also notably absent.
Following her public message, Meek didn’t miss the opportunity to get in a dig at the rapper. The Dream Chasers Record honcho slid into the post’s comments section via The Shade Room where he offered his thoughts on the “GUMMO” rap artist’s prison fashion.
“That witness protection drip [‘ok’ hand sign emoji],” the Philadelphia rap star wrote, referencing previous reports that Tekashi will likely have to enter the witness protection program once he’s finally out.

Safe to say Meek won’t be on Tekashi’s call list once he's out.
