One Kevin Clash Accuser Drops Lawsuit
Kevin Clash's legal troubles have gotten a little bit lighter.
One of the five men who pursued legal action after accusing Clash of sex abuse has dropped his lawsuit, TMZ reports. The man says he wants to focus on his career rather than engage in legal action against Clash.
The lawyer for the claimant says there has been no settlement in the case and that his client stands by his allegations. The lawyer says his client maintains the right to re-file the case at any time.
Clash, best known as the voice of Elmo on Sesame Street, became the subject of scandal last year when several men came forward accusing him of having sex with them when they were minors. Despite stepping down from his post at the children's show, Clash has maintained his innocence throughout the ordeal.
