Sexyy Red Reveals She’s Working on Joint Album with Chief Keef

The “U My Everything” hitmaker confirmed that they already recorded a number of songs.

Is a Sexyy Red and Chief Keef collab on the way? According to the St. Louis rapper, it’s happening.

During an interview with Viper at London’s Wireless Festival this past weekend, Sexyy Red revealed that she is working on a joint album with Chief Keef.

When asked if she and the Chicago rapper are “love interests” or just “musical friends,” Sexyy Red replied, “That’s my boo… We dropping an album soon. Yeah, for sure. We’ve been working.”

The “U My Everything” hitmaker also confirmed that they already recorded several songs. When the host asked her to describe what the album sounds like, Sexyy Red said, “We just be on some money shit. Some car shit, fast cars. F**k these hoes. Buy some clothes. And keep your hair done [laughs].”

Sexyy Red and Chief Keef have already collaborated on three songs –  “Damn Shorty,” “Grape Trees,” and “Bow Bow Bow (F My Baby Dad).”

The duo also recently made headlines when Sexyy Red found herself involved in a love triangle with King Von‘s sister Kayla B. It all started when Kayla B posted a picture on Instagram of her kissing Chief Keef with the caption, “Let’s be a familyyyyyy @sexyyred.” The St. Louis rapper then responded with, “Wya? We finna come get chu!!” and posted pictures of herself in bed with one of Keef’s pendants. 

Moments later, Sexyy Red posted a carousel of pictures with the caption, “Dis just my favorite brudda.”

Last month, Sexyy Red performed her tracks "U My Everything" and "Get It Sexyy" at the BET Awards 2024.
