Janet Jackson Reveals She Hates Doing Interviews
Janet Jackson may be done with interviews.
While on the road for the second North American leg of her “Together Again” tour, Jackson appeared on the U.K.-based radio show “Heart Evenings with Dev Griffin” and revealed that she hates being asked questions.
She opened up about the topic after the host asked if there was one particular question she was tired of reporters asking her despite decades in the spotlight. "I don't mean to be rude, but I have to be honest with you. Please stop asking me questions," she said.
The "Rhythm Nation" singer continued, "I've never thought I give a good interview. I really don't like speaking, so I'd rather stay quiet and listen to other people talk, and that's always been me."
"Don't ask me questions," Jackson jokingly added with a smile on her face. "Are we finished?"
The 58-year-old is set to conclude this leg of the “Together Again” tour in Phoenix on July 30. Then, she will head to Europe for several shows until Oct. 13. According to Billboard, the 2023 North American leg became the highest-grossing of Jackson’s career, raking in $50.9 million throughout 37 shows.
