Layzie Bone Breaks Silence on Krayzie Bone’s Hospitalization in New Instagram Post
Layzie Bone is speaking out days after reports revealed that Bone Thugs-N-Harmony member Krayzie Bone had been hospitalized and is “fighting for his life.”
On Tuesday (Sept. 26), the Cleveland MC uploaded a photo of his group members WishBone, Flesh-n-Bone, himself, and Krayzie Bone, alongside a heartfelt message to their supporters.
“In this challenging moment, as the immediate and Bone thugs family rallies behind my brother, we humbly ask for a moment of privacy,” the 49-year-old wrote. “Our family is facing the unexpected hospitalization of Krayzie Bone with strength, and your prayers are a beacon of hope.
Layzie Bone revealed that an update will be shared soon, “but for now, let us come together and keep our love and thoughts focused on his recovery. Your support means the world to us, and we truly appreciate your understanding during this time.”
Krayzie Bone, born Anthony Henderson, was hospitalized on Monday, (Sept. 25). The “Crossroads” emcee suffers from sarcoidosis, an inflammatory disease in which the immune system overreacts, causing groups of cells to form clusters of inflamed tissue called “granulomas” in one or more organs of the body.
According to multiple reports, he had been coughing up large amounts of blood.
A CAT scan later revealed the veteran entertainer had a leaking artery in one of his lungs. However, despite emergency surgery, doctors could not stop the bleeding. He has since been sedated and placed on a breathing machine.
