A Florida judge has decided that certain clips from Justin Bieber's Miami arrest video, which feature the singer's genitals exposed during a urine test, will not be made public. 

Miami-Dade County Judge William Altfield said in court Tuesday (March 4) that Bieber's "right to privacy is paramount," when it comes to his January DUI bust. "He has not lost the right to privacy, and that is what is important," the judge asserted.

Three of the five video clips will remain as is, and two will be edited for the Canadian crooner's protection. Prosecutors plan to unveil all five videos once the changes have been made. Bieber's lawyer Roy Black was satisfied with the judge's decision, and media outlets like the Associated Press and Miami Herald announced that they would abide by the blackout rule for specific images and recordings. 

Authorities have so far released videos of Bieber pacing in his cell and doing push ups, in addition to a batch of shirtless photos showing his tattoos. A newly published clip obtained by TMZ also shows Bieber's urine test, but the footage is shot from afar and therefore doesn't breach privacy rights. 

Bieber, 20, was found with prescription pills and marijuana in his system, and has pleaded not guilty to drag racing, resisting arrest, and driving under the influence. He was pulled over after authorities were caught on camera tailing him to a Miami nightclub while he drove below the speed limit. Neither he nor friend Khalil Sharieff were drunk at the time of their arrest, as originally reported. 

Judge Altfield set a status update in the case for next week. No trial date has been scheduled as of yet.
