The Duchess of Sussex appeared in the legal drama for seven seasons.

Before assuming her role as the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle dazzled audiences with her performance on the now-concluded legal drama, “Suits.”

Even after four years since its last episode, the television series continues to charm fans and is breaking streaming records.

Last week, while on the carpet during the Power of Women event in Los Angeles, CA, the former actress spoke to Variety about the show’s lasting impact, telling the outlet, “Isn’t that wild?”

The 42-year-old who starred as paralegal Rachel Zane admitted she had “no idea” about the source around the series’ resurgence but recalled enjoying her time working on the show. She continued, “It was great to work on such a great cast and crew. We had a really fun time.” She gushed, “I was on it for seven seasons, so quite a bit.”

Markle noted, “But it’s hard to find a show you can binge-watch that many episodes of these days, so that could have something to do with it. But good shows are everlasting.”

“Suits” debuted on the USA Network in 2011 and ran for nine seasons until its final episode on September 25, 2019. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show set a streaming chart record last month for the most weeks at No. 1, surpassing “Ozark.”
