This Sports Reporter Is Being Dragged For Saying Diddy Looks Like He 'Smoked A Blunt' And 'Drank A 40' And Can’t Be Taken Seriously
Diddy tweeting about wanting to become the next owner of the Carolina Panthers on Sunday night was met with instant excitement, with Steph Curry and Colin Kaepernick both tweeting that they "want in" with the rap mogul on a possible ownership group.
But the announcement wasn't met with excitement from everyone. Upon learning about Diddy's desire to become the first Black majority NFL team owner, Henry Wofford, a sports reporter for the Bay Area's Kron 4 News, appeared on the morning news with Kron 4 host Darya Folsom and inexplicably said that Diddy looks like he "smoked a blunt" and "drank a 40" and questioned, "How can we take Diddy seriously?"
Wow. Well, Henry, Forbes listing Diddy's net worth at $820 million would be reason to take him seriously, as would his entrepreneurial spirit and ability to continue to push the needle forward on hip-hop culture.
Upon seeing video of Wofford, who's Black, inexplicably blast Diddy while Folsom laughed, Twitter showed no mercy, destroying him with these reactions.
Here's the footage of Wofford making his comments about Diddy
Wow ... just ... wow!
Upon seeing the video, the backlash was so severe that Wofford tweeted the following:
"Out of context" ... right.
The disappointment with Wofford was real
Disappointment is an understatement.

And people were sickened that he perpetuated such stereotypes as a black man
Shaking our damn heads.
Others didn't hesitate calling him a coon
You did this to yourself.
People just had to ask 'why?'
Unreal.

Twitter also told him what to do with thoughts like this
Yes!
The bottom line, Henry Wofford, is ...
Do better!
