Game Releases Book on Making of R.E.D.
On heels of the release of his oft-delayed album R.E.D., Game gives fans a behind-the-scenes look at the process of recording the project. Called The Making of Game's R.E.D. Album, the self-published book was penned with journalist Soren Baker. It includes anecdotes about Game’s collaborations with Lil Wayne, Dr. Dre and Drake.
“I wanted to give my fans a behind-the-scenes look of how my new album came to be,” Game said in a press release about the project. “These are my stories in my own words. This book is the only place where you’ll learn all the stories behind the music—how I got the beats, what inspired the lyrics and how the album was put together.”
Fans know that the story of this album is an interesting one. Originally slated to hit shelves in ’09, the release date was changed nearly a dozen times.
