Alex Haley’s Son Fights for Return of Malcolm X Letter - The son of Pulitzer Prize-winning writer Alex Haley (who wrote Roots and co-wrote The Autobiography of Malcolm X) recently petitioned Syracuse University to turn over a letter written by Malcolm X to his father, citing the letter should be kept with the Haley family.
