The Rock Is Living The Life With An Epic Cheat Meal For His 47th Birthday

From sushi trains to pancake towers—he’s got cheat day handled.

It’s no secret that scrolling through Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's Instagram will motivate anyone to hit the gym ASAP. Along with working out, The Rock also has to eat right to maintain his insane, rock hard bod. But when Sunday rolls around, he takes down as many sushi rolls as he can.

For those who don’t know what a ‘cheat day’ is, Urban Dictionary defines it as, “A day on which you are allowed to break your diet, as complete abstinence is impossible for most people. It also provides a reward for the sticking to your nutrition plan over the rest of the week. The "cheat" can be small (e.g. a chocolate muffin with lunch), large (e.g. a fast food meal), or systemic (e.g. Full Fat Friday).”

This former wrestler turned actor literally consumes his weight in food on his days off. When he’s not eating right or working on his insane biceps, The Rock will legit go in on about 2,100 to 12,000 calories in one sitting while binging his newest Netflix obsession. With each cheat meal, comes a nice anecdote that makes us both hungry and love The Rock more and more. From scarfing down 12 pancakes to inhaling four double dough pepperoni and Hawaiian pizzas, The Rock’s Sunday night cheat meals would put anyone else in a food coma.
