Pharrell Williams Has 12 Nannies In Constant Rotation To Help Care For His Triplets
Pharrell Williams has his hands full!
The legendary producer and his wife, Helen Lasichanh, who were already parents of one, welcomed their triplets (two boys and a girl) in January 2017.
Pharrell still hasn’t publicly shared the names of his triplets but what could be more fascinating than their 9-year-old name Rocket? Hmm...
As a family of six, it definitely takes all hands on deck to keep the house in running order, and the 45-year-old producer admitted that he and his wife don’t do it all alone. He confessed to having up to 12 nannies in constant rotation to help care for the three children.
“We're not alone..." he shared on GMA Day.
"Our parents are involved and we also have a staff; in terms of nurses, we have like, 12 people... Twelve ladies are in constant rotation: three in the morning, two at night." Sharing insight on what it’s like to father triplets, he gave funny details on what it’s like to witness his precious little ones to cry.
"It's an assembly line... they harmonize (when they cry). It's 'Waah! Waah! Waah!' all at the same time. Like one cries, the next one cries, the next one cries. They're hungry, they're hungry, they're hungry."
The N.E.R.D producer got real and mentioned that he dreads the day his little girl starts dating. After he learned that GMA Day’s host, Michael Strahan, had 13-year-old twin girls, he realized that he’s “building a new fear.”
"We have a daughter too, man, and this world is a crazy place," Pharrell said. "It's a beautiful place, but it's a crazy place..."
