Tamera Mowry Says She Prayed For Her Biracial Baby To Be Brown & Have Kinky Hair
The Real co-host Tamera Mowry-Housley openly admitted on the daytime talk show that she prayed that her daughter would have brown skin.
Here's the story:
As you may know, Tamera has happily been in an interracial marriage with her husband, Adam Housley, for about seven years, and the couple shares two children, Aden, 5, and Ariah, 2.
Although the 39-year-old biracial actress loves her hubby (and his "big head"), Tamera recently admitted on the talk show that while she was pregnant with her second child, Ariah, she "really wanted" her daughter to have the same skin tone, eye color, and hair as her.
“This is The Real, so I’m going to be honest," Tamera opened the conversation. "I really wanted Ariah to really look like me. Like, everything. Everything. I think she has my skin color and my eye color.”
Her fellow talk show co-host, Adrienne Bailon Houghton, chimed in: “You prayed for that! I remember! She was like, ‘Lord, let her be brown. Let her have black hair.’”

In fellow co-star Loni Love's opinion: “Ooo she look like her daddy.”
