Prom season is in full effect! The question is, can they outdo the proms that went viral in 2017? We're not too sure, but prom-goers are definitely trying, even going as far as making their prom entrances in a casket! YIKES!

TBH: We still don't think they can beat when parents were spending upwards of $25k for lavish send-offs last year.

While some parents choose to go grand for their teenager's prom deciding to pull out all the stops with jets, helicopters and even camels, one young man choose to flip the script and make it about his mom.

Now he's going viral! Let us explain.

High school student Nassir, 18, went viral when his mother, Fatima, shared on the 'gram that her son decided to ask her to be his date for senior prom because years ago his mom opted to not go to her own prom in order to use the money to get an apartment to house her newborn, Nassir, whom she gave birth to six months prior.

Not only was the reasoning endearing, but the photos, taken by Philadelphia photographer Dionté Wade, were even more fabulous.
