2019 was the year of fabulous shades at the BET Awards! With cameras flashing and paparazzi calling their names, some of our favorite stars decided to play it cool and rocked some seriously stylish frames. Below, see some of the most memorable looks that have us ready for summer.
2019: Rico Nasty
All eyes were on Rico Nasty when she stepped onto the 2019 BET Awards carpet. Styled by Hollywood it-girl fave Farren Jean Andrea in a trendy white mini dress, the I’m Nasty rapper completed her look with the flyest pair of $480 Fenty Mask Sunglasses designed by none other than the queen of cool herself, Rihanna.
2019: Tequan Richmond
Tequan Richmond took his cool blue streetwear style to a new level with his choice to accessorize with custom hot pink sunglasses. We personally loved how the actor’s colored shades neatly framed his face and showcased his playful side without being overstated.
2019: Parker McKenna Posey
Parker McKenna Posey has a thing for geometry! The 'Games People Play' actress caused quite a stir on the BET carpet when she chose to rock a pair of rose-hued triangle shades to compliment her sheer black dress. FYI: The look was reportedly inspired by geometric shapes.

If you weren’t blinded by Quavo’s expensive bling at the 2019 BET Awards, you may have noticed that the Migos rapper chose to amplify his eye-catching custom Zoe Costello suit and Zana Bayne harness with a pair of Gucci diamond encrusted shades. So icy hot!
