Watch It, Shop It!: See Rihanna’s Star-Studded Savage x Fenty Fashion Show Like You're Front Row
One thing Rihanna does is play big when it comes to her business, and her super exclusive 2nd Savage x Fenty show and collection proves just that.
The superstar turned mogul partnered with Amazon to debut her star-studded fashion show that only a few guests were able to witness during New York Fashion Week. While the event was invite-only, Rihanna has treated all of her fans to a special Amazon Prime live stream of the show, where we’ll get to watch her celebrity friends perform and strut down the runway in Fenty’s sexiest Savage lingerie.
The Amazon Prime Video is available to stream in more than 200 countries and territories starting from today (Friday).
Rihanna shared behind the scenes footage and of the sand design process of the fall/winter 19 collection. We witnessed never-before-seen footage of Riri rolling up her sleeves cutting fabrics, choosing tags, and labels.
She is involved with the entire process including casting the models. “It’s very important that the casting tells the narrative of what the brand stands for, and what we stand for is inclusivity,” Rihanna explained in the documentary. “That’s what I stand for with everything that I create,” she continued. Her show displayed diversity in age, race, size, and even gender, casting openly transgender model, Isis King, and superstar Laverne Cox.
Riri elevated the concept of a typical fashion show by putting on an entire production with performances by The Migos, Halsey, DJ Khaled, and Fabulous to name a few. In an unprecedented fashion, 36 of the sultry lace items that came down the runway are available for purchase now on Amazon Fashion along with items that may pre-ordered for the October/November release. Savage also debuted two new VIP boxes with the product that is only available to its members for $59.99.
