We know we’re not the only ones who are still shook from Beyoncé’s insane 24-song set at Coachella. Oh, we mean Beychella. Not to mention, everyone was trying to cop some of the HBCU-inspired gear Queen Bey and her dancers were rocking. Well, now you can.

It all started from an idea between Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteng and Beyoncé during a practice session for Coachella. As the dancers were gushing about their new threads, Olivier told Vogue that Beyoncé could see how impactful this was for the culture.

“Sometimes, you create a moment, and it’s just one moment. With the clothes that we are creating now, it’s going to be a moment that keeps going and going and going. This is something really important. Everybody is always telling me about millennials or about the future—this is the future,” Olivier explains.

On Friday, July 13, Balmain will be launching a three-piece Balmain x Beyoncé collection in the Paris flagship. The items will be available for purchase on balmain.com and beyonce.com the following day. The collection includes the yellow and pink sweatshirts, ranging from $550 to $1,790, that Beyoncé wore on stage at Coachella, as well as a $290 black tee with the same sorority Beyoncé sorority graphics.

This project is especially important to the French designer because he wishes he had someone in the '80s and '90s like Beyoncé to look up to when he was an adopted Black child being raised by white parents.

“I grew up in France without having a real identification of being Black and being an adult. I couldn’t see myself in the future… For me, working with Beyoncé, it’s more than only music. It’s about history, working with a woman that’s going to be part of the history and has made her own revolution, not only in music, not only in fashion. She is an icon to an entire generation.”

Not only will the gear be inspired by the culture of historically Black universities and colleges, the proceeds will go towards benefiting the United Negro College Fund. This is in addition to the $100,000 donation that Beyoncé made to four HBCUs after Coachella.
