Jessie Reyez is an up-and-coming singer that has a unique style. She's of Colombian descent but grew up in Toronto.

Not only does Reyez have a captivating voice, she's also an expert guitarist. Her father is a guitarist as well!

Reyez started singing at the age of 3. Her mother, aware of her passion, started recording her at the age of 8. At the age of 18, Reyez started getting recognition. She went through her first heartbreak and started writing music from the heart.

Jessie Reyez attributes her mentor, Daniel Daley from DVSN, for her improved vocal and writing skills. She made it into The Remix Project in Toronto, and that's when her career started to take off.

In 2014, Reyez was featured on King Louie's "Living in the Sky" track. Reyez met King Louie through The Remix Project. She took the opportunity to showcase her talents to him and they worked together on "Living in the Sky." Reyez credits King Louie with helping further her career and introducing her to other artists like Chance the Rapper.
