Cop Identified in Beating Homeless Woman - Officer Daniel L. Andrew has been named as the authority that was caught on camera beating Marlene Mardella Pinnock, 51, by a Los Angeles freeway in July. Pinnock said she was approached by Andrew and later thrown on the ground. He then began hitting her. Inmates Smuggle Drugs From Grandmother's Casket - Nekoase Antwan Vinson, 30, and his relative Henry Ison Rouse, 27, attempted to smuggle contraband into jail in a bizarre way, The Telegraph reports. The two were granted permission to attend the viewing for their grandmother’s funeral, where the men’s friends stashed marijuana, a cell phone and lighter in the dead woman’s casket. Her grandsons then took the items and were caught trying to bring them back to the Bibb County jail in Georgia. They now face charges for possession of the illegal items.
