You're Fired: Musicians Who Got the Boot - Twitter may prove to be the downfall of yet another golden-era hip-hop group. Last night (May 6), Naughty By Nature front man Treach tweeted, "Vinnie from NAUGHTY BY NATURE is Officially FIRED," referring to fellow founding member Vin Rock. David Ruffin - Similar to Ballard and the Supremes, David Ruffin was exiled from the Temptations due to a mix of substance abuse — cocaine, in his case — and repeated clashes with the rest of the group over finances and the spotlight. The last straw, though, was when Ruffin missed a Temptations show in June 1968 to catch a performance by his girlfriend. (Photo: Detroit Free Press/MCT /Landov)
