Hampton University Track and Field Team Wins Big - Hampton University’s men’s and women’s track and field team are unstoppable. For the second year in a row, they scored big at the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) titles on Saturday in the MEAC Indoor Championships. Alabama State Alumni Introduce Heritage Complex - Four Alabama State University Alumni are living out their dreams just steps away from the college that gave them their start. Vladimir Averett, Kim Salter, Coratio Vinson and Larnetta Moncrief opened the doors of the Heritage Complex, home to their four businesses, including a café, hair salon, barber shop and formal wear shop. Hampton University President Donates Largest Gift in History - Hampton University President William Harvey is known to give back, but this time he has outdone himself. Harvey, a Talladega College alumnus, donated $1 million to the institution to establish the William R. Harvey Art Museum at Talladega College.
