Eat (Not-So) Fresh - Thanks to the Internet, the gag-inducing food pranks carried out by workers in popular restaurants have been brought to light, bringing a whole new meaning to the adage "you are what you eat." — Britt MiddletonOn Instagram, an Ohio Subway employee recently posted a shot of his co-worker rubbing his penis across foot long bread along with the caption, "My name is @ianjett and I will be your sandwich artist today." Attempting to clear up his actions, "sandwich artist" Ian Jett told the Huffington Post that while it was him in the photo, "I would never do that at work -- it was at home. This isn't something I'd ever do at Subway. It was totally a joke." (Photo: Instagram via IanJett)

Mashed Potato Mishandling - You may never look at Kentucky Fried Chicken's home-style mashed potatoes the same again. In February, an image of an employee at a Tennessee KFC goofing around with a pan full — including a shot of her licking them — quickly spread across the internet (KFC later said those potatoes were not served to customers). Both the potato licker and the employee who snapped the shots were terminated, the fast food chain told a Tennessee news station. (photo: Facebook via WjhlTV11)
