Kevin's got a tell-all book. Guess what "inspired" him!

7. The Tell-All Book - Yes, Kevin ratted on his friends in a highly salacious act of literary expression.(Photo: BET)

It Was Only a Matter of Time - The fighting. The drama. The mitchassness. It was only a matter of time before someone felt like pulling the imaginary trigger and writing about the chaos that is the Husbands crew. Of course, it was really a matter of money and Kevin got down to the matter before everyone else. Seeing as how J.B. Smoove believes that Kevin likes to steal ideas, we wouldn't be surprised if he was inspired by any of these salacious tell-all books.... (Photo: BET)

Carmen Bryan It's No Secret - Carmen Bryan is best known for being Nas' first baby mother and having an affair with his one-time rival Jay-Z, which exacerbated their brewing beef in 2000. Though the affair was kept a secret, Nas came forward about it after Jay-Z took a shot at him in "Takeover" and alluded to it in the verse "you know who did you know what with you know who." With the two New York rap legends at each other's throats, Carmen did the only logical thing that anyone in her position would do: she wrote a tell-all book about it. Oddly enough, the book was finally released years after the two emcees stopped feuding. (Photo: VH-1 Publishing)

Tarsha "Miss Jones" Jones Have You Met Miss Jones?: The Life and Loves of Radio's Most Controversial Diva - Miss Jones gained prominence in the '90s and '00s as a radio host for New York's Hot 97. She also dabbled in singing, having appeared on songs with Big L and AZ. Since she had one foot in the actual musical side and another foot in the radio show, the pairing of the two must have led to a sordid path in the music industry which could only be quantified in a memoir/tell-all book. Karrine Steffans Confessions of a Video Vixen - The late '90s and early 2000s were rife with highly sexualized and mysogynistic music videos, with the standout girl usually becoming a word-of-mouth sensation. One of those women was Karrine "Superhead" Steffans, who chronicled her life's journey in what set the template for all hip hop confessional books.   (Photo: Amistad Publishing)

O.J. Simpson If I Did It - Although never officially released, a short print run of these were produced, with one copy going for $250,000 on eBay. Simpson's tasteless attempt to capitalize off of his murder trial was met with an overwhelming amount of public contempt, which led to the book's cancellation. It has also been stated that it is largely a work of fiction, despite its alleged inspiration. (Photo: Wikicommons)

Dennis Rodman Bad As I Wanna Be - When Dennis Rodman was traded to the Chicago Bulls, his celebrity profile began to get bigger and his interest in alternative lifestyles became fodder for gossip magazines everywhere. Remember this was the '90s — the era before TMZ, Perez Hilton and Instagram. With Rodman daring to be different, he was embraced by Gen X-ers who found him appealing for that reason alone. Living the life of rockstar has its ups and downs and it was only a matter of time before Rodman decided to spill the beans in a tell-all book. Much like Kevin's tell-all, Rodman sounds off on various NBA players without any filter. (Photo: Dell Publishing)

Anicka Bakes Worse Than He Says He Is - After the release of Rodman's Bad As I Wanna Be, his ex-wife Anicka Bakes wrote her own tell-all, going so far as to parody the cover Rodman's book. The autobiography outlines their abusive marriage in great detail. (Photo: Dove Entertainment Inc)

Prodigy My Infamous Life - While serving three years for a weapons charge, Prodigy of Mobb Deep took it upon himself to pick up the pen and write his autobiography — a bold move considering most rappers shy away from revealing too much about their personal lives. Prodigy took the opportunity to explain his upbringing, how his father's erratic behavior affected him and ultimately what led to his incarceration. In between the lines, he sheds light on his famous rap beefs (most notably the one with Jay-Z), which rappers get the side eye and his interactions with other Queens street legends.(Photo: Touchstone Publishing)

Keith Richards Life - Sex. Drugs. Rock 'n' Roll. Those three themes are pretty much expected when reading autobiographies by rock stars. However, when the rock star is a member of The Rolling Stones, one of the greatest bands in history, it's worth taking notice since those three themes probably have mucher bigger grains of authenticity than they would for most other musicians. Keith Richard is, most certainly, about that Life. (Photo: Back Bay Books Publishing)

J-Zone Root for the Villain - The early 2000s produced an avant garde mix of underground rappers who cultivated loyal followings and released music independently. One of those rappers was J-Zone, who produced music and served up his own brand of comedy rap. However, being underground and witty doesn't translate to financial stability and his musical career eventually floundered. J-Zone documents this struggle in bitingly funny detail and skillfully assesses the moment he stopped wanting to make music. What makes Root for the Villain unique is that it's not written from the perspective of a wildly successful musician who fell from grace, but it's a relatable analysis of one man's ego that's forced to take the low road out.    (Photo: Old Maid Entertainment)
