Flo Rida - Judging by his stage name you might be able to guess where Flo Rida is from, if not we'll help you. Flo Rida's full name is Tramar Lacel Dillard and he hails from Carol City, Florida. His moniker is the perfect double entendre to honor where he comes from and also displays his ability to rap or "ride the flow" of a beat. From a young age, Flo Rida was introduced to music by his family. Some members sang in a local gospel group while his brother-in-law was a hype man for 2 Live Crew. In high school Flo Rida and friends created a rap group called the GroundHoggz. After high school he went on to study international business at the University of Nevada for a couple of months.
