Eddie Murphy - Eddie Murphy first flexed his comedic muscles on the sketch-comedy TV series Saturday Night Live. Then he made his film debut with Nick Nolte in 48 Hours. Next Murphy gained worldwide appeal in the Beverly Hills Cop franchise. To date the film remains one of the all-time biggest domestic blockbusters. Redd Foxx - Performing on the "Chitlin Circuit," Redd Foxx gained notoriety by performing his style of "blue humor" — a dirty version of the comic form that was deemed too raw for mainstream audiences.
