Steve Harvey - During the 2015 Miss Universe pageant, Steve Harvey made the biggest mistake possible: he announced the wrong winner. At the final stretch of the competition, the Family Feud host announced Miss Colombia as Miss Universe, and after about five minutes of applause by the audience, he reappeared on stage to own up to his mistake before announcing Miss Philippines as the actual crowned winner. During a Q&A segment following the competition, Steve seemed extremely embarrassed and remorseful. "Please don't hold this against the ladies," he said. "We feel so badly, but it's still a great night."(Photo: Ethan Miller/Getty Images)

Daniele Watts  - Django Unchained actress Daniele Watts made headlines in August 2015 when she and her boyfriend were reported to the police for having sex in public. The actress claimed, however, that the police racially profiled her and her white boyfriend. After they both pleaded no contest to disturbing the peace, they were ordered to write apology letters to the LAPD, but the judge wasn't buying what the actress was saying, especially since she called the police sergeant "sarcastic" and "dismissive" in her letter.(Photo: Kevin Winter/Getty Images)

Kanye West  - Kanye West almost had another "I'ma let you finish, but..." moment in February 2015 when folk singer Beck won the Grammy for Album of the Year over Beyoncé. Although he didn't bum-rush the stage for another priceless moment, he was noticeably upset and surprised at the win — like everyone else. The rapper, soon after, went on The Breakfast Club and sort of apologized, saying that while the Album of the Year accolade was a reach, Beck definitely deserved some recognition for his commendable body of work.(Photo: Kevork Djansezian/Getty Images)

Dr. Dre  - 2015 was a massive year for Dr. Dre with the success of Straight Outta Compton, but it also saw his abusive past rear its ugly head. Particularly, one instance was brought to the forefront by TV journalist Dee Barnes, who shared her experience with Dre where he physically assaulted her. Now, after years of ignoring her story, the hip hop mogul has apologized. "I apologize to the women I've hurt," he said. "I deeply regret what I did and know that it has forever impacted all of our lives."(Photo: Kevin Winter/Getty Images)

Vivica A. Fox  - Vivica A. Fox's feud with her ex 50 Cent broke the Internet this past month, and somehow Soulja Boy managed to get caught in the crossfire. It all started when the actress called 50 a "booty snatcher" in reference to the rapper's XXL magazine cover with Soulja Boy during an interview on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live! Doing damage control, the Independence Day actress tweeted soon after, "Wasn't speaking about @souljaboy only my EX and his antics! I apologize for that to @souljaboy."(Photos from left: Jesse Grant/Getty Images for VH1, David Buchan/Getty Images)

Ariana Grande  - In July 2015, Ariana Grande annoyed America for two pretty big reasons: 1. She licks donuts she didn't buy, and 2. She said she "hates America." Well, the singer is apologizing for both. In a personal vlog, the "Problem" singer said she's really sorry for what she did. "I'm going to come forward and own up to what I did and take responsibility and say I'm sorry," she said. Justin Bieber  - At the top of the year, Justin Bieber went on an apology trail, explaining to the world that he's done with his "douche-bag" ways. According to the pop star, he's been faking this bad boy image for years. "I'm not who I was pretending to be," he said in a video posted on January 28. "I just want to make the best impression on people and be kind and loving and gentle and soft... that's how my mom raised me."(Photo: Larry Busacca/Getty Images)

Taylor Swift  - It was the Twitter feud of the summer. Back in July 2015, Taylor Swift felt slightly shaded by Nicki Minaj after the femcee tweeted about being snubbed by the VMAs or her "Anaconda" video while "women with very slim bodies" were recognized. Taylor took time to lash out at Nicki, saying, "Maybe one of the men took your slot," but later apologized after the rapper told her to chill — it's not always about her. "I thought I was being called out. I missed the point, I misunderstood, then misspoke. I'm sorry, Nicki."(Photo: Jason Merritt/Getty Images)

Matt Damon  - Matt Damon rubbed a lot of folks the wrong way when he spoke down to esteemed female filmmaker Effie Brown during a sit-down talk about the new HBO reality series Project Greenlight. The actor did some damage control after his comments went viral. "I believe deeply that there need to be more diverse filmmakers making movies... Madonna  - Another year, another Madonna scandal. At the top of 2015, Madge came under fire after she compared herself to several Black leaders including Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Nelson Mandala. The singer, while promoting her latest album, Rebel Heart, posted images of them to Instagram with black tape on their faces — similar to her album cover art. After being slammed for this, she apologized on Facebook. "I'm sorry. I'm not comparing myself to anyone. I'm admiring and acknowledging there [sic] Rebel Hearts."(Photo: Ethan Miller/Getty Images for ABA)
