Missy Elliott: The Visionary

The Virginia native has become the first female rapper inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

One In A Million - With Timbaland, Missy wrote and produced nine tracks for Aaliyah's second album, "One In A Million." Missy and Aaliyah were close, and after Aaliyah's death, she released a video for "Take Away," which contained images and words dedicated to her friend.
So Addictive - Missy has released six albums, between the years of 1997 until now. She is currently preparing the release of "Block Party," tentatively due out later this year.

A True Sista - Before making it big, Missy started out as a member of Sista, a female R&B group that was eventually signed to Swing Mob, the label started by DeVante Swing of Jodeci.1, 2 Step - Back in 2007, Missy appeared on ABC's "Extreme Makeover," which awarded four scholarships to four underprivileged teens. Around that same time, Missy also shed 50 lbs. after she changed her own diet.
