Vitamin Powered - The actress is a fan of Hairfinity hair vitamins and recently signed on as their celebrity ambassador after trying them out for two months. She says the supplement has helped her strands bounce back after experiencing breakage from a hair color treatment. “In the first two months, I noticed that my hair shed less, it started to feel thicker; I even noticed that it started to grow a little more. It works!” (Photos from left: Kat Goduco/PictureGroup, Brock Beauty)

Straight From the Kitchen - While she credits her “happy” strands to a low maintenance regiment and daily vitamin supplements, this star says an overall healthy lifestyle, especially a diet full of fresh fruits and vegetables, keeps her hair growing long and strong. “My Vitamix [blender] is my favorite thing, ever. I love making smoothies at home. It really, really matters,” she says. (Photo: Keshia Knight Pulliam via Instagram)

Going Natural - As a freshman at Spelman College, an HBCU in Atlanta, she says she learned a tough lesson about hair relaxers. “My hair was literally down to the middle of my back, but at the end of freshman year, after getting a perm, it was to my shoulders!” she says. Today, she’s relaxer-free. “I am the outdoors-y, go for a jog, swimming kind of girl, and I’m not going to be a slave to when I can get a hair appointment." Workout Smarts - When she’s working out, Pulliam says there are no tricks to preserving her hairstyle and instead stacks her workout days together, relying on heat-free styles like a chic side braid to get her through. “Tuesdays and Thursdays are my workout days. That way, if I want to enjoy my weekends, I can get my hair done on Thursday and it will be fresh for the weekend.” (Photo: Keshia Knight Pulliam via Instagram)

Keeping It Clean - Because she exercises so often, Pulliam stays consistent with her hair washing routine. “My scalp is naturally very oily, so for my hair to be fresh and fluffy, I have to wash my hair about every four days,” she says. The starlet says she switches it up between shampoo brands like Joico and Pantene, always making sure to deep condition. (Photo: Keshia Knight Pulliam via Instagram)

Deep-Down Care - Pulliam says she loves using raw coconut oil as a moisturizing deep treatment after washing, but on the whole stays away from styling products. “During the winter time, when my hair is a little drier, I may put a few drops of Aveda Emollient Finishing Gloss on it after I blow-dry it, but my hair cannot sustain products because it gets greasy instantly.” (Photo: Artisana)

Curly Girl Rules - “I’ll usually use a heavier conditioner when I’m going to wear it curly because it helps to maintain the integrity of the curl,” she says, adding that Miss Jessie’s Rapid Recovery Treatment is a favorite. “I may leave a little bit in because that gives it the weight so it's not as frizzy.”

Do-It-Yourself - Rather than relying on a stylist, the New Jersey-born beauty says she does her own blowouts “nine times out of ten.” “The key is to make sure you rinse out all of the conditioner,” she says. “I actually comb through my hair in the shower with the conditioner in it. It’s easier to get tangles out. Then I divide it into sections and blow-dry it with a brush and flatiron.” (Photo: Taylor Hill/Getty Images)

Luxurious Length - While the actress says she loves using clip-in pieces to enhance her length and fullness, she prefers her own natural texture to full-on weaves. “Once I had my hairdresser sew up all of my hair and put a short bob piece in just to see how I’d like it. I was so ready to have my own hair back! I think it’s because I am so active and not having the option of, like, a ponytail or a bun was crazy to me.” (Photo: Frederick M.
