Brandy's 10 Best Singles

Zoe Ever After debuts tonight.

9. 'I Wanna Be Down' (1994) - Brandy’s first single off her self-titled debut was enough to have us hooked. Co-written and produced by Keith Crouch (who would go on to write for Maxwell, Toni Braxton and Tamia), the track was a sweet ode to innocence. The video is a classic that features Kangol hats and singing into rotary phones. We miss the '90s. Also shout out to the remix, which featured Queen Latifah, Yo-Yo and MC Lyte.(Photo: Atlantic Records)
8. 'Almost Doesn’t Count' (1999) - Around the spring of 1999, promotion for her Brandy’s second album, Never Say Never, was starting to wind down. Still, at the time her made-for-TV movie with Diana Ross, Double Platinum heavily featured this smooth post-break-up single.(Photo: Atlantic Records)
February 13, 2012: Brandy and Monica Release "It All Belongs to Me" - Brandy and her old partner-in-crime, Monica, who collaborated in 1998 with the chart-topping "The Boy Is Mine" — the first No. 1 record for each — reunited for a new hit, "It All Belongs to Me." (Photo: Courtesy RCA Records)
Talk About Our Love - Brandy brought on hip hop's biggest name in the game, Kanye West, to bring some more flavor to the already sassy love song. Brandy moves, grooves and proves that she's got to have her love locked down. (Photo: Atlantic Records)5. 'Have You Ever' (1998) - "Have You Ever" proved that Brandy can really carry a tune written for the pop charts. Still, Brandy drove the sad song home with her signature raspy vocal runs. Only a true R&B vocalist could do that. The song made it all the way to #1 on the R&B charts.(Photo: Atlantic Records)
