50 Best Songs of 2013 - Music stars made big statements in 2013. They didn’t just give us songs to twerk to, we heard music that sparked social and political discussion. We saw numerous blockbuster album releases make sales history and two mega pop stars reassert their dominance on the charts. The hottest rapper of the year called out his peers, while another rising star challenged a superstar to a sales battle. The story lines varied yet the music carried us through another year, which brings us here to a countdown of the 50 best songs of 2013.

50. "Own It," Mack Wilds - Best known for his riveting role as teenage drug dealer Michael Lee on HBO’s The Wire, actor Tristan Wilds made a smooth transition from Hollywood to music in 2013.
