Jay Z's Best Remix Verses

Hov has a long history of killing remixes with 16 bars.

Juvenile, "Ha" - This unexpected combination of MC opposites helped Juvenile blow up outside of the South. Check Jay Z's onomatopoeia: "They got big guns that go brrrrap, brrrrrap, brrrrap — where your n---as at?" (Photos from left to right: Shareif Ziyadat/FilmMagic, Courtesy Rap-A-Lot Records)
Mya and Hov Are an Item - This might be the biggest reach thus far. The last time Mya has even been in the same sentence with Jay Z was in 2000 for their collab on "Best of Me Part II."  Why the gossip universe pulled Mya’s name out of a hat 14 years later is unknown. But, the songbird shut that down REAL quick *Drake Voice*.  (Photos from Left to Right: Jason Merritt/Getty Images, DJDM / WENN.com)

R. Kelly Freaks Out - What should've been one of Jay-Z's most triumphant onstage moments — he and R. Kelly joining forces at Madison Square Garden for their Best of Both Worlds Tour in 2004 — became one of the most bizarre when Kelly stormed off mid-set, claiming audience-members were waving guns. Right after, Kelly got into an altercation with members of Hov's crew backstage and ended up getting pepper sprayed. Needless to say, the tour collapsed, leaving a trail of lawsuits and salty interviews in its wake. Mya, "Best of Me" - Mya's remix owned clubs and radiowaves in 2000, making the original all but obsolete. "Pain is pleasure and pressure bust pipes, and you look like the 'I like it rough' type," Hov rapped. (Photos from Left to Right: Jason Merritt/Getty Images, DJDM / WENN.com)
