The artist, affectionately referred to as “T” by the Kardashian-Jenners, has had a series of ups and downs in his career. He’s secured another up this week by signing with a new record label. Family (Un)Ties - The Drake/Tyga beef was so weird, stemming from what seems like just success envy. In an interview back in 2013 with Los Angeles’s Power 106, Tyga sent some thinly veiled shots at Drake in the form of not rescuing him if he had a raft and had to choose between Drake, Nicki Minaj or Lil Wayne. It all went downhill from there, especially after Tyga had his Cash Money woes and ultimately called Drake "fake." A Shot at His Own Reality - This was weird, but maybe after all this time it proved to be a good idea. In 2015, MTV2 gave Tyga his own reality show, Kingin With Tyga, where he got to brag through six episodes about how lavish his life was. It seemed disingenuous at the time, but since the show made a comeback on MTV this past year now that T is headfirst in Hollywood, perhaps this feels more natural for everyone? (Photo: MTV)

Here’s a couple who has secured their child’s future by aligning with the SAME DAMN FAMILY. Chyna is about to deliver a Baby Kardashian with future hubby Rob and Tyga is geared to be King Raww of the Kardashian-Jenner empire. Ain’t Nothing But a G.O.O.D. Time - The jokey memes have already surfaced, suggesting this was all Kylie Jenner’s doing, but as of this week, Tyga has become an official signee to Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music. This is some strong familial tie happening here. Is Tyga locked into both the label and the family forever?
