The Best (And Worst) of Tyga
T-Raww has had some wins...and losses.

Eye of the Tyga - Tyga is an interesting figure in hip-hop and seemingly now Hollywood. The artist, affectionately referred to as “T” by the Kardashian-Jenners, has had a series of ups and downs in his career. He’s secured another up this week by signing with a new record label. More on that later, but let’s take a trip through all of Tyga’s good and bad times. — BET Staff (Photo: David Livingston/Getty Images)

Back When Tyga Was Just a Cub - Remember when Tyga’s claim to fame was being Travie McCoy’s cousin and he had that strange song “Coconut Juice”? We're not sure if this was a good time for Tyga or a bad time, to be honest.(Photo: Jamie McCarthy/WireImage)

The Rob (No Kardashian) - Remember in 2008 when Tyga had his jewelry robbed by people assumed to be in the camp of 40Glocc? But then Tyga went and said there were other robbers and 40Glocc’s people robbed the robbers? What?(Photo: Jeffrey Mayer/WireImage)

Racks on Racks on Racks - All it took was one massive single to make Tyga a star. In 2011, the third single proved to be the charm as “Rack City” was Tyga’s big moment to rhyme about Vegas nights and hip-hop opulence. And it worked. It was certainly the shape of things to come, right?(Photo: Cash Money/Young Money, Republic Records)

The YMCMB Era - Tyga’s second studio album Careless World: The Rise of the Last King, is still his most successful album to date, proving that as part of YMCMB alongside stars like Drake and Nicki Minaj, he too could shine.(Photo: Last Kings Entertainment)

4-Star Hotel - His third studio album, Hotel California, was pretty successful under the YMCMB umbrella too and featured cuts like “Dope” with Rick Ross as well as the buzz single “Molly.”(Photo: Young Money, Cash Money, Republic Records)

That Cash Money Chokehold Though - Like Lil Wayne, Tyga went through his own battle with Cash Money, enduring album delays and shady business. The situation was bad all around.(Photo: Frazer Harrison/BET/Getty Images for BET)

Family (Un)Ties - The Drake/Tyga beef was so weird, stemming from what seems like just success envy. In an interview back in 2013 with Los Angeles’s Power 106, Tyga sent some thinly veiled shots at Drake in the form of not rescuing him if he had a raft and had to choose between Drake, Nicki Minaj or Lil Wayne. It all went downhill from there, especially after Tyga had his Cash Money woes and ultimately called Drake "fake." Eventually Kanye West helped squash the beef that should’ve never happened. #NeverForget - The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty, Tyga’s fourth studio album, arrived via Spotify premiere in 2015. It went on to sell a little over 2,000 copies. Womp womp.(Photo: Last Kings Entertainment)

A Shot at His Own Reality - This was weird, but maybe after all this time it proved to be a good idea. In 2015, MTV2 gave Tyga his own reality show, Kingin With Tyga, where he got to brag through six episodes about how lavish his life was. It seemed disingenuous at the time, but since the show made a comeback on MTV this past year now that T is headfirst in Hollywood, perhaps this feels more natural for everyone? (Photo: MTV)
