DMX's Long History With the Law

Dark Man X's run-ins with the law.

And Then There Was X - DMX has a history of run-ins with the law, and he just may have a new warrant issued for his arrest soon after a 21-year-old man accused the Yonkers MC of robbing him at a gas station. According to a police report, "The two had a brief conversation about rap music and during the conversation, a male in DMX's entourage showed the victim a gun and demanded the victim's money."The victim then claimed that X himself snatched $3,200 out of his hand before he and his crew jetted off in an Escalade. If this turns out to be true, The Ruff Ryder rapper could face some jail time. As we wait to see how these latest allegations against Earl unravel, let's take a look at some of Dark Man X's high profiled busts. — Michael Harris (@IceBlueVA)(Photo: Josh Williams/Splash News)

Blackout - Earl made headlines in June 2004 after he was arrested at John F. Kennedy Airport’s parking lot for allegedly trying to steal a car with another man and then fighting the car’s owner. It didn’t stop there; X then got inside his truck and crashed the parking lot gate, identified himself as an FBI agent and then tried to commandeer another vehicle. He caught a break here and ended up pleading to a DUI and reckless endangerment, having his license suspended for six months, paying a $1,000 fine and having his Ford Expedition confiscated. Speed Demon - DMX made his name in Hollywood, but he should have been cast in the The Fast and the Furious franchises with the number of arrests he's had for speeding. In May 2008, he was arrested in Scottsdale, Ariz., for reckless driving after being clocked doing 116 mph in a 65 mph zone in a yellow 1966 Chevy Nova II with his name emblazoned across the windscreen. Oh yeah, his license was suspended at the time too.(Photo: Iain Burchell/Splash News)

What's My Name? - DMX must have figured he wasn’t a star even though he’s sold over 30 million albums and starred in blockbuster hit movies, because in July 2008 he was indicted in Arizona on charges that he used a false identity to try and avoid paying a $7,500 medical expense incurred during a hospital visit. X was hit with one count of theft and one count of taking someone else's identity after he checked into the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he allegedly gave the name "Troy Jones" to avoid paying the bill.(Photo: REUTERS/HANDOUT/LANDOV)
