Superman Is in the Building! - What a year it has been for Cam Newton. After leading the Carolina Panthers to a 2015 NFL season-best 15-1 record and being the frontrunner to win the league MVP, the star quarterback punched his ticket to Super Bowl 50, where his Panthers will face the Denver Broncos on February 7. Cam is making it look easy now, but it took a lot to get him to this point. Here, BET.com lists some of his biggest football feats along the way. Winning the 2010 Heisman Trophy - Passing for 2,589 yards and 28 touchdowns and rushing for 1,409 yards and another 21 scores had Auburn's Cam Newton running away with the 2010 Heisman Trophy, leaving runner-up and fellow future NFL QB Andrew Luck in the dust in the voting. And this was just the start of his greatness, setting the bar high for what was still to come.(Photo: Kelly Kline/Getty Images for The Heisman)

Leading Auburn to BCS National Title - After winning the Heisman Trophy a month prior, Cam Newton wasn't going to be denied. The star quarterback made sure to end his collegiate career on a strong note, airing it out for 265 yards and two touchdowns, while rushing for 64 yards to lead the Auburn Tigers to a 22-19 victory over  Oregon in the BCS National Championship Game in January 2011. No. 1 Draft Pick - Fresh off winning the Heisman Trophy and National title, Cam Newton pulled off the trifecta when the Carolina Panthers tabbed him with the No. 1 selection in the 2011 NFL Draft. Oddly enough, selected second in the same draft was linebacker Von Miller, who will be chasing Newton during Super Bowl 50 when the Panthers face the Denver Broncos.(Photo: Chris Szagola/Cal Sport Media)

Breaking Peyton Manning's Rookie Record - Cam Newton and Peyton Manning were linked together well before this impending Super Bowl 50 matchup. Like Manning, also a No. 1 draft pick, Newton immediately proved to be worth the top selection, too, passing for over 400 yards in his very first NFL game, thus breaking Peyton's first-game passing record. Rushing to More Records - Talk about instant impact. Not only did Cam Newton become the first player in NFL history to pass for at least 4,000 yards and rush for at least 500 yards in his inaugural season, but his 14 rushing TDs remain the most by a quarterback in a single season in league history to this day. What a splashy debut.(Photo: George Bridges/MCT via Getty Images)

Winning 2011 AP Rookie of the Year Award - It was never in question. On the strength of Cam Newton's dazzling first season, media members gave him 47 of 50 votes to name the young QB the 2011 Associated Press NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. "It's still a learning process for me," Newton said, as reported by NFL.com back in February 2012. "I mean, I learned so much the entire season. I can do so many things better." He was right and proved that with this year.(Photo: David T. Foster III/Charlotte Observer/MCT via Getty Images)

Another Season of Firsts - Not only did Cam Newton lead the Carolina Panthers to their third straight postseason, but their 15-1 record was a 2015 NFL season-best. That and he also recorded another first to add to his resume. With 35 passing touchdowns and 10 more rushing scores, Newton became the first quarterback in NFL history to throw for at least 30 TDs, while rushing for 10 in the same season. He might be Superman, for real. (Photo: Streeter Lecka/Getty Images)

Tying Steve Young's Record for QBs and Rushing TDs - The Carolina Panthers superstar quarterback ended the 2015 season tying Steve Young for most career rushing touchdowns by a quarterback with 43. What's downright scary is it took Young 15 seasons to get those scores. It took the 26-year-old Cam Newton only five. And Cam can snatch the all-time record come Super Bowl 50. We are witnessing pure greatness.(Photo from left: Streeter Lecka/Getty Images, JOHN G. MABANGLO/AFP/Getty Images)

Frontrunner for MVP - Cam Newton hasn't won the official 2015 NFL MVP just yet, but is it really in question? The fact that his Carolina Panthers flirted with an undefeated season and nearly all its offense went through him should make this an open-and-shut case. Plus, like it or not, Cam dabbed on nearly every NFL defense he's seen this season.(Photo: Kevin C. Cox/Getty Images)

Punching Ticket to Super Bowl 50 - After notching the best record in football, Cam Newton and his Carolina Panthers edged the Seattle Seahawks and destroyed the Arizona Cardinals to stamp their ticket to Super Bowl 50. Now all that's stopping Cam from adding another chapter to his growing legacy is defeating Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos on February 7. Dab on 'em, Superman!(Photo: Mike Ehrmann/Getty Images)
