Follow the Leaders: Fat Joe - It takes a lot of skill to be in the rap game for a few years, but to be in it for almost two decades says a lot about a person and their ability, so it's no wonder that Fat Joe is still cranking out hits. A Friend and Brother Forever - In 2000, after a serious battle with his weight, Fat Joe's confidante, mentor and brother in music, Big Pun, passed away due to a heart attack at the age of 28. Fat Joe was affected forever and vowed to keep Pun's legacy alive forever.
