Steve Smith Sr. - The veteran wideout has a long memory and he’s quick to come for you if you get out of line. This past May, on his 36th birthday, he responded to an old tweet from a troll, who called the All-Pro receiver old and fragile. Smith offered up in response, "even at 36, I would put you to sleep...u cookie dough." Then there was his response to Cleveland Browns fan @DawgsBy Nature, who called Smith a “punk” for the time he punched an ex-teammate. Smith shot back, “I'm in Ohio twice this year you can test out your theory if you want to Boo!!!” It's clear Mr. Smith ain't here for the nonsense.(Photo: Archie Carpenter/UPI /LANDOV)

DeMarcus Cousins - Just like Steve Smith Sr., NBA All-Star DeMarcus Cousins stashed a tweet for five long years then struck back at a Twitter follower when the moment was right. Earlier this year, Cousins re-posted a tweet of a troller saying the center would be arrested in five years. Boogie didn't get arrested, but he did make the All-Star Game for the first time in his career. The culprit deleted his Twitter account.(Photo: Ezra Shaw/Getty Images)

J.R. Smith - When one New York Knicks fan blamed him for "blowing" a March 2013 game, J.R. Smith tweeted "and ya mom." Just like that. That's cold, J.R.!(Photo: EPA/ERIK S. LESSER /LANDOV)

Aaron Rodgers - Following a November 2014 win over the Minnesota Vikings, Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers drank a bottle of Crush grape soda during the postgame press conference. Social media trolls thought he was sending a subliminal message to the Vikings. Except, he wasn't, as he explained on ESPN radio. "Seven years. To all the idiot trolls out there, seven years. PBJ and Grape or Orange Crush. It's been grape for the last five, the first couple years it was orange or grape. Seven years."(Photo: Mike Lawrie/Getty Images
