Will Tom Brady Get Revenge? - The only thing more exciting about Super Bowl XLVI may just be the tension between this year’s contenders (and former Super Bowl foes), the New England Patriots and the New York Giants. BET.com breaks down the burning questions and interesting stats leading up to the big game on February 5.—Britt Middleton Tom Brady may be hailed by some as the most elite quarterback in the NFL, but during Super Bowl XLII in 2008, football’s golden boy bowed down to Eli Manning and his Giants in a 17–14 loss. It would be Brady’s only Super Bowl loss in his career (he currently holds three titles; Eli Manning has one). (Photo: Donald Miralle/Getty Images)

The Helmet Catch - The Patriots’ 2008 Super Bowl loss was due in part by a now legendary touchdown catch made by then-Giants wide receiver David Tyree, who in the last two minutes of the game memorably snagged Manning’s game-saving third-and-nine by pinning the ball against his helmet. The move was affectionately dubbed “The Helmet Catch” and was named “The Play of the Decade (2000s)” by NFL Films. (Photo: REUTERS/Lucy Nicholson)

Watch Him Go - Patriots wide receiver Anthony Deion Branch Jr., who was named MVP of Super Bowl XXXIX in 2005, is another Patriot to watch come game day. One of his season highlights includes the divisional playoff game against the Denver Broncos on Jan. 14, in which Branch caught a 61-yard touchdown pass during the first half. Man of the Hour - Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz — Eli Manning’s favorite target in the NFC Championship game against the 49ers on Sunday — gave a show-stopping performance on Sunday. Cruz finished with 10 receptions for 142 yards and gave his team the first score of the game in the second quarter. Can he give an encore performance on Super Bowl Sunday?(Photo: Thearon W. They’re Playing in Indianapolis - This year the Super Bowl game kicks off in Indianapolis, the hometown of another famous Manning quarterback — Peyton, of the Indianapolis Colts. Both Teams Beat the Harbaugh Brothers - This past Sunday, both the Giants and the Patriots beat teams lead by the Harbaugh brothers — Jim Harbaugh, head coach of the San Francisco 49ers and John Harbaugh, head coach of the Baltimore Ravens — and, coincidentally, both feats were 3-point games. On Sunday, the Patriots bested the Ravens 23–-20; the Giants trumped the 49ers 20–17.(Photos: Rob Carr/Getty Images; Ezra Shaw/Getty Images)

Who’s the Bigger Star? - “Brady was less than his usual stellar self in the AFC game, throwing no touchdowns and two interceptions, and said afterward: “I [stunk] pretty bad today.” According to the Washington Post, “It was Manning who was the star Sunday, throwing 58 passes without a single interception. One thing is certain: Manning, not Brady, is the hottest quarterback heading to Indianapolis, and that’s not something anyone would have expected when the season began.”(Photo: Jim Rogash/Getty Images)

Run for Their Money - Sports analysts predict the Giants’ offense will have a hard time plowing through the Patriots’ Vince Wilfork, as the nose tackle showed Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens. “Wilfork, who weighs in excess of 350 pounds, was unblockable against the Ravens. He consistently stuffed the run and either made the tackle behind the line of scrimmage or set it up for linebackers [Jerod] Mayo and Brandon Spikes to make tackles for short gains,” John Clayton reported on ESPN.com on Sunday.(Photo: Al Bello/Getty Images)

Coaches With a History - New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick and New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin will leave it all on the field come Super Bowl Sunday, but they once wore the same colors — Big Blue — and worked together to make big plays. More than two decades ago, both coaches worked for the New York Giants: Belichick as the defensive coordinator and Coughlin as the wide receivers coach.(Photos: Al Bello/Getty Images; Ezra Shaw/Getty Images)
