In a 2011 interview with TeenMusic.com, the knighted musician said, “People who mock rap, and say, ‘I don’t like it;' they should go check out Kanye in the studio rapping. Or Eminem when he’s in the studio. It’s a phenomenon.” Mic drop. Not only did he let everyone and his fans know that rap is a “phenomenon,” he also co-signed the talents of Kanye West and Eminem.
