The Women Drake Likes to Rap About

He doesn't only sings to the ladies, he rhymes about them.

A Ladies' Man Emcee - Drake has so carefully carved out his lane as a ladies' man, that even when Jay Z called him out for some good ol' fashioned beefing, the OVO head honcho opted instead to name check another "J" — Jennifer Lawrence — in his latest freestyle, "Draft Day." It's par for Drizzy's lyrical course, whether the women are famous already (J-Law, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj), or famous because he made them that way (like Courtney from Hooters). Read on for a look at some of Drake's muses.(Photos: Jason Kempin/Getty Images; Chelsea Lauren/Getty Images for Time Warner Cable; Jason Merritt/Getty Images)

Jennifer Lawrence - In "Draft Day," a freestyle Drake dropped on April Fools' Day (joke's on us?), he flips a Hunger Games metaphor into a direct line to the movie's star. "On some Hunger Games s--t I would die for my district/ Jennifer Lawrence you can really get it/ I mean for real, girl you know I had to do it for yah/ You know I had to do it for yah/ You know I had to."(Photo: Jason Merritt/Getty Images)

Alisha - A former classmate of Drake's was first mentioned in "Successful," featuring Lil Wayne and Trey Songz, off his So Far Gone EP ("Back when I was trying to put a ring on Alisha hand..."), and then again on "Shot for Me" off his Take Care LP. ("Now you're trying to find somebody to replace what/ I gave to you/ It's a shame you didn't keep it/ Alisha, Catya, I know that yo.")(Photo: Courtesy of October's Very Own)

Bria Myles - Drake's link to model Bria Myles became topic of public conversation with "Bria's Interlude," featuring Omarion, off So Far Gone. "I was smitten over this girl from L.A. and I started writing a song about her," he explained to MTV about the track. "A lot of the R&B [I do] is really based off women that come into my life and inspire me to speak to them in song and say what I never would expose on just a talking level."(Photo: Bria Myles via Instagram)

Keshia Chanté - On one of Drake's early cuts off his mixtape Comeback Season, he makes reference to fellow Canadian vocalist/actor (and former 106 & Park host) Keshia Chanté by addressing her mother. "What up Tessa I love you like my own mama/ And ya daughter's getting grown, mama/ And me I'm just here workin', waitin' patient/ For her to be ready for to love and leave her drama," he spits on "Deceiving."(Photo: Bennett Raglin/BET/Getty Images for BET)

Maliah Michel - On Thank Me Later, Drake and Lil Wayne trade bars about women who can go ahead and miss them a little when they're gone. Drizzy adds in a shout out to Maliah Michel, a model who appears in the video for the second single off the album Find Your Love. "Someone tell Maliah I'm on fire, she should work tonight/ Call the King of Diamonds and tell Chyna it'd be worth the flight/ I'll be at my table stackin' dollars to the perfect height," he raps on "Miss Me."(Photo: WENN)

Paris Morton - Drake has not one, but two songs named after this model — "Paris Morton Music" and "Pound Cake/Paris Morton Music 2," — the latter of which was placed on his Nothing Was the Same and includes the lyrics, "These are usually just some thoughts that I would share with myself/ But I thought 'F--- it'/ It's worth it to share 'em with someone else other than Paris for once/ I text her from time to time, she a mom now/ I guess sometimes life forces us to calm down/ I told her she could live with me if she need to/ I got a compound, but I think she's straight."(Photo: Paris Morton via Instagram)

Nicki Minaj - Drake and Nicki Minaj not only make beautiful music together (her "Moment 4 Life," his "Make Me Proud," "Up All Night" and "Best I Ever Had"), but he also thinks about her when she's not on the track. "I love Nicki Minaj, I told her I'd admit it/ I hope one day we get married just to say we f----n' did it/ And girl I'm f-----n' serious, I'm with it if you with it," he confessed on "Miss Me." Not much changed by Nothing Was the Same's intro, "Tuscan Leather": "Not even talkin' to Nicki, communication is breakin'/ I dropped the ball on some personal s--t, I need to embrace it/ I'm honest, I make mistakes, I'd be the second to admit it/ Think that's why I need her in my life, to check me when I'm trippin'."(Photo: Jason Kempin/Getty Images)

Beyoncé - Before Drake and Beyoncé inked up for Beyoncé's "Mine," he acknowledged the stronghold she has on the women that he loves to sing about so much. "Look, I know girls love Beyoncé/ Girls love to f--- with your conscience/ Girls hate when n---as go missing/ And shawty you ain’t no different," he spits on a flip of Destiny Child's' "Say My Name," the aptly titled "Girls Love Beyoncé."(Photo: Ian Gavan/Getty Images)

Drake - Bria Myles isn't the only one to get a brief romantic moment in song from Drake. On Thank Me Later, Drake dropped "Cece's Interlude," crooning, "All night I've, been staring, can you tell I want you?/ Can't be too, wide open, there's nothing, I won't do/ Just thought you should know."(Photo: Courtesy of Young Money)

Rihanna - One of Drake's latest lyrical muses, however, seems to be Rihanna. The two have been romantically linked for some time now (on-and-off, at least), and have appeared on each other's songs (his "Take Care," her "What's My Name"). Most recently, he dropped a song called "Days in the East" on which he lifts Rih's line, "Threw my hands in the air I said show me something," and then adds in, "Remember one night I went to Erykah Badu house, she made tea for me/ We talked about love and what life could really be for me/ She said, 'When that s--t is real, you just know'/ And I was thinking bout you, you already know." (Photo: KCS Presse/Splash News)
