Friday (1995) - Twenty years ago on April 26, Ice Cube made his mark on Hollywood with the surprise box-office success of Friday, and today the movie revisits theaters for one day only. In the two decades since the film's release in 1995, the flick's become a classic, spawning characters and catchphrases like, "Bye, Felicia!" that are as relevant today as they were back in the day. Ice Cube ('Craig Jones') - Along with his longtime collaborator DJ Pooh, Cube is the mastermind behind the Friday franchise. The pair wrote the script and Cube also played one of the two leading roles. Now, the rapper-turned-filmmaker is a household name. He has starred in a number of films and TV shows like Are We There Yet?, and is also a prolific producer and director. Cube has his 10th studio album, Everythang's Corrupt, due out this year as well as the NWA biopic Straight Outta Compton, which he produced, in theaters this August. Three years after Friday, Tucker became a household name as one half of the comedy duo Rush Hour. The megastar took a hiatus from films shortly after Rush Hour 3, but came back strong in David O. She also starred in a number of series for the small screen including Third Watch and House of Lies.
