The World Trade Center - The 12-year anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, tragedy is here, and while memorials have been erected nationally over the years, the World Trade Center towers are still being constructed. Underground Memorial Museum - The WTC site is set to feature an accompanying underground museum, which will host artifacts such as the mangled fire trucks and the Ground Zero Cross. But construction was delayed due to a funding dispute between the memorial foundation and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. Freedom Tower - One World Trade Center, formally known as the Freedom Tower, will be completed in early 2014. The 104-story building reaches the symbolic height of 1,776 feet and will be the new office location for Conde Nast, the publisher of magazines including Vogue, GQ and Vanity Fair.
