Stop the Violence: Slain Chicago Rappers

Too many artists have died in the streets of Chiraq.

Lil Jeff - Jeffrey "Lil Jeff" Morgan was killed at a house party on Mother's Day 2013. Reportedly, his death was a result of gang warfare. L'A Capone - Leonard "L'A Capone" Anderson was killed in September 2013 while waiting outside a recording studio in Chicago. He was hit in the right thigh and lower back and died at Northwestern Hospital. Trife - Tavache "Trife" Kizer died October 7, 2013, after being shot in the head. The 38-year-old MC rapped about stopping gang violence and was not believed to be the intended target. At the time of his death, he was editing his video "Respect the Youth," which sheds light on the murderous epidemic going on in Chicago.(Photo: Traffic Entertainment Group)Don Darius - Ladarius Brisco, aka Don Darius, was shot in the head and killed in December 2013. He had beefs with the Black Disciples and dissed them numerous times in his songs and YouTube videos.
