Stop the Violence: Slain Chicago Rappers

Too many artists have died in the streets of Chiraq.

Johnny Boy Da Prince - Johnny Taylor a.k.a Johnny Boy Da Prince died on January 9, 2013, after being shot several times and left to die in an alley in the Garfield Park section of Chicago. Lil Jeff - Jeffrey "Lil Jeff" Morgan was killed at a house party on Mother's Day 2013. Reportedly, his death was a result of gang warfare. L'A Capone - Leonard "L'A Capone" Anderson was killed in September 2013 while waiting outside a recording studio in Chicago. He was hit in the right thigh and lower back and died at Northwestern Hospital. The 38-year-old MC rapped about stopping gang violence and was not believed to be the intended target.
