Stop the Violence: Slain Chicago Rappers - The murder epidemic going on in Chicago has taken its toll on the community. Not only has the city been dubbed "Chiraq," but there's a list of aspiring MCs who've lost their lives to the gun in recent years. One is too many.For example, this past weekend, OTF Nu Nu, cousin of XXL Freshman Lil Durk, was shot multiple times while sitting in a vehicle. Lil Jo Jo - Joseph "Lil Jo Jo" Coleman was gunned down on September 4, 2012, in a drive-by while riding on the back of a friend's bike. The aspiring MC's murder came on the heels of being involved in a street beef with Chief Keef and Lil Reese and releasing a diss song named "3HunnaK," on which he went at Keef and the whole Black Disciples gang. Jo Jo ran with rival gang Bricksquad Gangster Disciples.After the teen's death, a tweet was sent from Keef’s account laughing at the senseless killing, stating, “HaHa…Its Sad Cuz Dat N---a Jojo Wanted To Be Like Us.” Keef later claimed that his Twitter was hacked.Jo Jo's death sparked several more murders throughout the city.(Photo: Lil JoJo via Instagram)

Police found over 24 shell casings at the scene.
