Vick Bashes Dogfighting App - Eagles QB Michael Vick came out against Android’s Dog Wars app Tuesday, saying it glorifies the crime he spent time behind bars for. “Now I am on the right side of this issue, and I think it’s important to send the smart message to kids and not glorify this form of animal cruelty,” he said in a joint statement with the Humane Society. An official from the company that created the app, Kage Games, says critics have it all wrong, adding that money raised from the app will go toward fighting animal cruelty.(Photo: REUTERS/Gary Hershorn)

NFL Lockout Over—For Now - On Monday a U.S. District Court judge granted the NFL players’ request for an injunction and lifted the lockout, ending the league’s work stoppage, which started early last month. But the NFL quickly promised to appeal the ruling, leaving many players wondering whether they should show up to their respective team facilities to work out on Tuesday. But if the injunction is upheld, the NFL must resume business in some fashion. All of this was in the background for this week's draft, which has a weird feel as teams prepped for picks without free agency or the ability to swap personnel. (Photo: Minnesota Vikings Hall of Fame football player Carl Eller, who represents former players.
