'Real Friends, How Many of Us?' - Kanye West asks the question in his latest release, "Real Friends." The single kicks off a series of Friday releases that we're hoping goes all the way until 'Ye gives us Swish on February 11. While he reflects on friendships that have been lost, let's turn our attention to friendships that have stayed strong. Every artist needs an equally famous friend to share the limelight and deepest darkest secrets. —Janice Llamoca(Photo: Larry Busacca/Getty Images for NARAS)

Beats and Beef: When Artists Clash With Their Producers - It was all good a week ago, but things hit the fan between DJ Mustard and YG today as the two apparently went at it on Instagram over unpaid services. A now deleted post on Mustard's account read that he never got paid for beats on his album and YG returned the accusation saying that he never got paid for Mustard's.Hopefully the two leaders of the new West can hash out their grievances and as we wait to see how this drama unfolds, let's take a look at more instances when producers and artists went head-to-head. (Photo: Johnny Nunez/BET/Getty Images for BET)
