The 25 Best Strip Club Anthems

In honor of the anniversary of Ice Cube's The Player's Club.

Juvenile, "Back That Azz Up" - Juvenile’s monster 1998 blockbuster took New Orleans bounce to living rooms worldwide. At this point it's likely more grandmothers have backed it up to Mannie Fresh’s classical beat than strippers. (Photo: Cash Money Records)
"Twerk" - The word "twerking" was introduced in 1993 when DJ Jubilee, from New Orleans, released his dance hit "Do the Jubilee All." On the track, he ad-libbed the word "twerk" to the rhythm beat. However, the word did not catch on until 2000 with the Ying Yang Twins' "Whistle While You Twurk." The rump-busting dance move would gain its claim to fame in 2013 following Miley Cyrus's viral video of her dropping it full-twerk mode at a Juicy J concert. "Twerk" was added to the Oxford Dictionary in August 2013.(Photo: TVT Records)
2 Chainz, “I Luv Dem Stripperz” feat. Nicki Minaj - 2 Chainz isn’t ashamed to say he’s a strip-ophile, and with this 2012 song’s hypnotizing synths and trap hi-hats, perfect for pole positioning, it’s fair to assume they love him right back. (Photo: Island Def Jam Recordings)
Tyga, "Rack City" - The understated, repetitive hook on Tyga's strip-club anthem even had suburban grandmas rapping along on YouTube.   (Photo: Vallery Jean/WireImage)2. French Montana ft. Rick Ross, Drake & Lil Wayne "Pop That" - French Montana enlisted the help of familiar friends Rick Ross, Drake and Lil Wayne for the summer club anthem “Pop That.”(Photo: Bad Boy Records)

Ying Yang Twins, “Wait” - In the wrong hands this song is a creepy flasher’s anthem. In the strip club though, with its breathy come-ons and ass-shaking 808s, it’s a boom-boom room classic. (Photo: TVT Records)
