Too Hot For TV

Dope music videos from 2014 that were too explicit to air.

ScHoolboy Q - "Hell Of A Night"  - ScHoolboy Q took us through one of his wild nights and showed what women will do once they get turned up. His psychedelic hit produced by DJ Dahi was banned from TV because of chicks popping mollies in the hypnotic visual.(Photo: Top Dawg Entertainment)
OG Maco - The self-titled OG Maco EP is making waves because of lead single "U Guessed It." The song was so influential that many even feel as though Beyoncé picked up on some of his style and swag for her "7/11" music video. That's debatable, but what isn't is OG Maco's staying power as a party anthem-maker. (Photo: Quality Control Records)
HS87 – “Grindin’ My Whole Life” - Hit-Boy rounded up his crew as they spit about their struggles while chasing money and success. The Cali producer/MC got grimmey for the visual as he revisited the hood with a few homies who flexed that pistol to demonstrate their previous hustles, which caused it to be blocked. It was still a win for The Plug and had crowds going ape at his live performances. (Photo: Interscope Records)
Vince Staples - "Blue Suede" - Vince had heads rocking with "Blue Suede" as he spit about life growing up in Cali and wanting to live and make it out the hood. He set it off with the visual which seemed to mock the old school West Coast video standards of having 40s of malt liquor in abundance and chronic smoke everywhere. He may have dug too deep because the empty Old English bottles proved a little too much for the tube.  (Photo: Def Jam)

OG Maco - "U Guessed It"  - OG Maco's "U Guessed It" set the streets on fire, and its visuals of him wilding out in a hotel with his crew even gave Beyoncé inspiration for her latest video "7/11." However, the tracks shoot 'em up lyrics and the Atlanta emcee's rampant screaming of the word "B**h" kept it off the airwaves. (Photo: Quality Control)
