Whoopi Goldberg vs. Wayne Newton - Comedians often tone down their acts when they transition to hosting talk shows, so as not to offend their honored guests, but somebody forgot to send Whoopi Goldberg that memo. During 1992's The Whoopi Goldberg Show, which only lasted one season, the Oscar winner had Wayne Newton as a guest. After Newton's public financial woes, the comedienne mocked him by handing him a pocket calculator and ledger to "better manage his hotel empire."
